Position Summary

As a project manager, you will assign and track work-flows in a highly cross-functional company to ensure that realistic expectations are communicated between internal groups and to clients. Your role will be project driven (and occasionally client-facing) and you will be a critical member of multiple working teams, helping to keep teams organized, managing ambiguity, and maintaining deadlines and deliverables. Ideally, you have some experience working in a fast-paced, innovative start-up environment and have previous exposure to life sciences and/or healthcare. Most importantly, you will be someone who has strong attention to detail, organizational skills, an ability to motivate, inspire and navigate personalities, and fluency in engaging with colleagues in technical roles.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a science or engineering discipline)
  • 2 – 5 years of project management experience in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, CRO, or a related healthcare field
  • Experience with project management software such as JIRA/Confluence
  • Must have exceptional communication skills in both verbal and written form
  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Must be skilled in the area of delegation and task follow up
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple projects


  • Develop or assist in development of a draft project plan
  • Develop timelines based on project priority list and project plan
  • Delegate tasks and communicate associated timelines in a clear and concise way internally
  • Develop resource planning estimates to make decisions on project workload, priorities, and staffing. Ensure resource availability and allocation is appropriate
  • Implement actions to keep projects on track, on schedule and within budgets and work to remove any roadblocks along the way
  • Provide thought leadership to team and help problem solve from project kick-off to project close around key strategic decisions
  • Communicate consistently in a cross-functional way
  • Monitor project analysis and conclusions for accuracy and consistency
  • Facilitate effective project meetings, handle change and conflict if necessary
  • Participate in external meetings where necessary
